My students need books for our classroom library. I have had many requests for National Geographic books about animals and natural disasters! I also have some high readers in my classroom that enjoy reading chapter books!
EP is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, apply reading concepts and strategies and write, while some of their classmates are learning beginning sounds and blending/segmenting words together.
We are an active group that does not like to sit at desks all day!
We like to play and move around the room as we learn. Our favorite time of the day is recess and we love to use our imaginations and write creative stories!
My Project
Many of my students have requested "the fact books with the yellow outlines!" National Geographic books are fantastic for students who love to read non-fiction books and my students are always eager to learn new things!
I also have a lot of students who love to challenge themselves through reading chapter books.
I would love to expand my classroom library and include a bigger selection of chapter books that my students can enjoy. The Magic Tree House series is perfect for my higher readers.
We are enthusiastic about books and reading in my classroom and I want to provide my students with books they can be excited to read!
