My students walk into our classroom every day, with huge smiles and ready to learn. They enjoy new challenges and love learning! I believe that ALL students can learn and will learn in a way that's fun and exciting. We are taking on the challenge of project-based learning this year! It's an innovative way of teaching that will provide amazing results.
I teach at a Title I school in NC, with a diverse population of students.
We have many languages and cultures represented which makes it an amazing place to learn! This year I'm fortunate enough to have a gifted cluster who require innovative and interesting ways to learn.
My Project
I am requesting professional development books to help me further my passion for teaching. Best practices and keeping learning fresh are important aspects of teaching. Finding new and innovative ways to find success for all is extremely important. The resources from this project will help me target learners of ALL levels.
I will learn how to approach reading, writing, and math in new ways that will hook the learners and help them be successful students during their school career.
