My students need these supplies to help them with their writing and a safe place to store all of their accomplishments! WE need pencils, notebooks, binders and more.
My 4th grade students come to school every day ready to learn and do their best. They meet their challenges head on, and I am lucky enough to see all the ah-ha moments that they have every single day. My students love to do math and to read, but every chance I let them they love to create their own comics.
My students come from a Native American Reservation in Central North Dakota, where 100% of my students are Native American.
My students have many challenges that are not just learning their multiplication facts. Sadly many of my students have hardships at home and the only stable environment that they have is school. I would never want to teach anywhere else. With my students we laugh together, we cry together, and we learn together every single day!
My Project
My students do a lot of writing in 4th grade! Everything from silly stories to researching about why volcanoes explode. So I need your help in getting the notebooks and the pencils to help them accomplish this. Once they do all of this creative writing the students will select the best pieces of their writing to put together into a binder that they will showoff during parent teacher conferences.
With your generous donation you will be giving my students the leg up they need to start the school year with all the supplies that they need to be successful.
I want the hardest part of this year to be which of their writings to put in their binders. Not will we have the supplies to do any writing at all.
