Project Based Learning Through Art And Engineering!
My students need the ZOOB STEM Challenge Kit, calculators, Legos, model magic and headphones for project based learning to help incorporate science, engineering and math plus collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving.
My students come from very supportive, encouraging and academically involved families that value the importance of their children's education. My students are high achievers that are driven to do their best. They enjoy challenging themselves and continually ask questions about the world around them. They enjoy engineering, creating and constructing hands-on projects to explore the world we live in. These hands-on projects make connecting to the world we live in, engaging and meaningful! A project based learning approach reaches a wide scope of learners and students are fully engaged and take leadership of their learning during the process.
My Project
The students in my classroom perform well on the required standardized tests and grasp concepts quickly. In order to keep the spark alive and to encourage my students to challenge their curiosity, we enrich the curriculum through project based learning.
When students are allowed to explore the world through art and engineering, we are able to teach to the whole child.
Through your generous donation, my students would be given the supplies they need such as headphones, calculators, clay, puppets, erasers and STEM kits to unlock their creativity and would be given the opportunity to explore, create and to collaborate with their peers to deepen their understanding of the world around them.
