My students need materials such as adhesive dots tape, thermal laminating pouches, and color paper in order to create visuals for communication, visual schedules, adapted books and work at their independent levels.
I have the wonderful chance to work with a wide range of children. My students have various special needs, including; autism, cognitive disabilities, speech/language impairments, and traumatic brain injuries.
They each have different challenges they face daily, but they never lose their spunk.
I have kiddos from Kindergarten up to sixth grade. Every student works at various grade levels for each subject area. Each student needs unique tools and activities to help them learn. The more hands-on activities, the better.
My Project
The materials such as laminating pouches, folders, and self adhesive dots tape included in this project will help me create items that my students need. We use a lot of visuals aids in my classroom and these supplies are needed to create these.
The visuals allow ALL of my students to be able to communicate with each other and the teachers.
They are able to manipulate these pictures to give them their own voice. It also allows us to create visual schedules for students.
These supplies will also help create more work tasks and adapted and hands on items. This help keep my students engagement levels high so that they are excited about learning.
