My Students

My students attend school near a college campus which makes for a very diverse population. Some of the students are children of professors, while others are children of students. They come from many different ethnic backgrounds as well as socio-economic status.

I want my students to have multiple opportunities to learn about the cultures and traditions of their classmates.

I feel like this information and knowledge will help them with the interpersonal skills and lead to better academic success and continuing educational growth.

My Project

My students love using technology to learn. More Osmo kits will help my students enhance their learning in the digital age. Osmo Jam will allow my Kindergarten students more chances to learn through coding while expressing themselves musically. Osmo Numbers has already proven to be a great addition to our classroom learning and with two more kits, more of my students will have a chance to use these materials. Osmo Words has been such a valuable tool, especially for some of my students who have struggled with learning letters and sounds. By using Osmo they have taken learning into their own hands and excelled.
