We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with DonorsChoose, which has provided resources for hundreds of classroom projects within the Penn-Trafford School District. The funds raised through DonorsChoose have enabled our teachers to inspire their students with amazing projects, improve their classroom environments and supplement lessons with hands-on materials. Our students are learning and engaging in new and very creative ways!

DonorsChoose is an amazing platform for our teachers to share their ideas with the community, and it’s incredible to see that the support comes from all over the world

About Penn-Trafford School District

The Penn-Trafford School District, located approximately 20 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA, is comprised of eight schools and serves nearly 3,900 students in grades K-12. The mission of the district is “Effective, efficient, quality education.” We achieve this mission by investing in staff development, technology and a rigorous curriculum. We strive to equip every student with the education and skills needed to achieve lifelong success.

Pennsylvania public school district rankings show that the Penn-Trafford School District is one of the preeminent K-12 districts based on academic performance on the PA State assessment exams (2019 Keystone / PSSA).
