Help a classroom in support of Jefferson Elementary School District
Message from Superintendent Bernardo Vidales

It takes a village to raise a child….. A wise saying goes. And there is nothing closer to the truth when it comes to educating students. One thing we have learned in the COVID 19 Era is that we are all interconnected and interdependent. What happens across the world, can have an impact on me. How well a child is prepared for their future across the country, can have an impact in my community. The types of experiences a school provides for its students in the next city, neighborhood or down the street will definitely impact all of our futures and the future of our country.

That’s why we are excited to partner with DonorsChoose, where our teachers can share information about their goals for their students and their individual classroom opportunities with donors from across the country that wish to make a difference in our community and in theirs.

With DonorsChoose, people from all over can play a special part in making dreams a reality for teachers and students, helping to prepare the next generation, a generation that will play pivotal roles in all of our futures. As a district, we are grateful for partnerships like this, one that offers experiences and opportunities for our students and school community to make our community and your community better places.
