When completing recorded performance projects like video ensembles, solo recordings, and performance-based assessments, students need to keep a common time and a standard pitch in order for the final product to sound good. This is challenging! Professional recording studios are equipped with tens of thousands of dollars of equipment to make this happen. I have devised a process by which student instruments are electrified and connected to the microphone input of their Chromebooks. This allows students to record themselves in somewhat noisy environments without compromising the sound quality of their performance. We need your help to acquire the cables, adaptors, and tuners that are needed to make this happen!
