I teach the final fourth grade traditional class in a Title One school that is transitioning to a full Montessori school next year. Though I am a traditional teacher, I still incorporate the Montessori teachings of peace in my classroom. I will also be training to become a Montessori 1st-3rd grade teacher this summer! My class is the sweetest and most hard-working group of students I have taught in my 15 years of teaching, and they truly love the peace education at our school, and want to do even more with the topic! They come from a variety of backgrounds, and are all special and unique in varying ways.
