I would like to have Chromebooks for my students to assist them in accessing the fourth grade curriculum and standards. Students will use Chromebooks to write essays and share them with peers to help them proofread and edit; read literary and informational articles in reading and science; and watch supplemental videos that will make it easier for them to understand different mathematical and science concepts. Students will use Chromebooks daily for extra practice in reading and math through i-Ready, an online program that adjusts instruction to students' skills and needs. In addition, they use Chromebooks for Studies Weekly, a supplemental program I buy to help my students gain access to the 4th grade Pennsylvania science standards. Students can listen to articles read to them, a feature especially helpful for my ELLs and other students who don't read on grade level.
