I teach a very diverse class, each of my students have their strengths and their weaknesses, distinct learning styles, and interest. Although I teach third grade I have various levels within my class, some of my students are high achievers but the majority of them are struggling learners. As a third grade teacher it is a daily challenge to meet all of my students needs, but through trial and error I have found that small group instruction is the most effective method. This provides me the opportunity to meet all of my students where they are and work to get them where they need to be. although my students have many different learning styles I have noticed that technology captures all of their attention, and keeps them engaged through out the assignments. My class is a challenge , but as an educator I wouldn't ask for anything else.
