My students rank the 11th Best High School in Houston, they are hard working and often times come in before school and stay after school to practice their craft. We perform around the city of Houston, not just on our school campus. We also attend competitions against other bands in our region. A good program has all they need to succeed. I want to start with the basic necessities. My students need a variety of percussion instruments to go with their sheet music! This is a Title One school and a lot of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. The Texas Education Agency rated us as an "A" school, based on parent surveys and student performance.
