Having robots in the computer lab will help me connect real life examples of coding. I'm new to the technology teaching position at my school this year, and I'm hoping to expand the knowledge of my students. I teach kindergarten through eighth grade students, and these robots will benefit all 230 students that go through my lab each week. Technology is a rapidly expanding field, and I hope to give my students opportunities to experience as much technology as possible. In the past, students have only focused on typing and very simple computer skills. My goal is to teach my students about the wonderful world of STEM and all it has to offer, while still learning necessary computer skills.
