The books I am requesting are to develop a free reading library of short novels for beginning and intermediate Spanish language learning students. It is my plan to incorporate D.E.A.R time (drop everything and read) into my classroom about once every other week to develop a love of reading through choice and creating an environment that is conducive to independent, reading. As this DEAR project develops, I would like to incorporate headphones and recordings for students to engage in stories that develop a love for reading and listening. I want them to engaged in some classics and some contemporary literature with high appeal.
