I teach in a Title 1 school. My kindergarten students often come from low income homes where education may not be high on the list of priorities or the resources are not there to buy school supplies. The children are so eager to learn. They are like sponges and need the necessary supplies to be successful. I want to be sure that they receive the education they deserve.
