The ability to get the first choice of our "fun furniture" is a big draw for my students. The table with the best behavior gets their first choice of furniture and the students love this! With more bean bags, students will improve their focus when they go there to read. It's hard to read when you're not comfortable! Responsibility is a trait we try to foster in our students, with furniture that is emphasized. Students know if they do not use the furniture responsibly, they lose the ability to use it. We currently have one massive bean bag, but it has a hole in it and I hope to build a big tented area for students to read under. The smaller separate bean bags would be much easier to place in this area and I believe students will really try their best to be able to sit in this area.
