My Social Studies and Language Arts classroom is high energy, and student-centered. I have two main goals for my classroom. First, expand our classroom library. Secondly, attain resources for our social studies lessons. We're wanting to expand our classroom library in order to build a love of reading for each of my students. When students have access to the stories that they're interested in and care about- their learning becomes personal and meaningful. I'm asking for help to bring those stories into their hands. For my Social Studies classes we're growing an understanding of our country and world. We're learning how to be responsible, dedicated, and global citizens. I'm looking for help in bringing in resources such as Google cardboard, virtual maps, and books to make our learning more diverse.
