Theater arts is a small--but growing--area of interest in both our school and our community, and currently our small student fees cannot keep up with demand. That's why I'm reaching out: I don't want interest to die out because of a lack of resources! We're excited about building excitement about the program by visiting our local elementary schools; however, the performance spaces we have access to are often undefined gym floors. In addition, we are hoping to explore untraditional staging with next season's plays, and creating a defined performance space is an important element of that. I'm lucky to have supportive administrators and enthusiastic students who are excited about innovative theater opportunities. Thank you so much for your consideration! I hope that you find a project you really want to donate to--whether it's mine or someone else's. We couldn't do it without you!
