I told my students I found an animal rug today for our classroom and got a round of YAYs. They approve. I also approve. I wanted to make sure that my students have options for seating while doing work. Often, as a student back in the day, I was very anxious and moved around too much for my teacher's liking. Giving students the option to sit at a desk, stand at their desk, sit on the rug, and have lessons outside on the requested cushions, make my inner 6-year-old 1st grader from '95 very happy. They'll be able to have a spot on an animal, which I now know they would all really love. Thank you for supporting us all!
