This year I implemented the House System, after being inspired by the Ron Clark academy! Students work together to earn points for their houses based on positive behavior, perseverance, team work, and academic growth. Every Friday we have house meetings to discuss topics of social emotional health and celebrations of the week as well as team building activities. Wearing House T shirts will give students pride in their house! Our plan is to wear our House T shirts every Friday for House Meetings as well as during House Celebrations and after school relationship building sessions! Already, students are growing in their team work skills since the beginning of the year. I know having T-shirts to show off their House pride will inspire them even more!
