By providing my classes with a small set of Chromebooks, the students will have an incredible opportunity to learn in a way that is meaningful to their own educational needs. Some students will be able to use these as a way to enrich their learning experiences through self-guided research projects and creative product presentation. Other students will use them as a learning aid while they work to meet the standards while increasing their reading comprehension skills. Individualized learning plans make it possible to reach a wide variety of learners, and meet them where they are ready. My goal is to provide a learning environment that allows 6th grade students to grow and flourish as learners. While they "study" Ancient World History, they will acquire the skills necessary to excel in high school and beyond. I am working hard to reach all students in a way that will only enhance their motivation, self-worth, and intelligence. The way to do this, in my opinion, is to support their educational needs with everything possible.
