Our High School is located in a high poverty area. These young men and woman do not have many options; there is no community center, no malls or shops...it's just farmland. They can't just drive to the next county as the closest is thirty to forty miles away. These young adults need to experience high school with the amenities to be safe and competitive. Unfortunately the funding is not there for EXTRAS. Recently parents and students organized the first cheerleading team in several years. Students purchased their own uniforms and have worked hard to establish a basic cheer program. This year I have agreed to assist with coaching these talented hardworking students. In order for us to be productive, competitive and safe we need tumbling mats.

About my class
