Our school is becoming a Google Classroom site. It is exciting to see the students light up and get motivated when they get to use technology to accomplish assignments and projects . Although we are fortunate to have computer labs for each grade level, it becomes difficult when over 200 students are trying to share 25 computers. Unfortunately, many of our students do not have access to technology or the internet from home. It is frustrating not to have working technology available for these kids to reach their goals. It would be wonderful to have chromebooks available in the classroom for students to use to complete assignments, conduct research, and take reading tests among many other tasks. The portability of chrome books is also a benefit to the students as they can use them in various classrooms and the computer lab when all the computers are being used. By donating to this project, you will be helping students become fluent users of technology and improve their academic skills. I look forward to seeing the students shine with this chromebook!
