Student-centered classrooms provide a learning environment that empowers student choices, increase student engagement, and improves student participation. Having a classroom organized with different seating options allows students with different learning styles to be successful. Donating to our project not only allows to students to be comfortable in our classroom, but ultimately allows them to be successful. Flexible seating classrooms are conducive to open collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. With bean bags and stools combined with tables and chairs in our classroom, the students will have several options to use for seating. Students will choose which seating option is most comfortable for him/her while completing assignments.
