My woodworking students are hard working kids who have a drive to try new things. My class is filled with students from grades 9-12 and we are located in Maryland. My students have shown a lot of interest in woodworking and even more interest in technology and now we are trying to bridge the gap. The students are new to the field of CNC routing and we are trying to make this an easy transition. My students were fortunate enough to get a grant at the end of the last school year to purchase a CNC router to really bring technology into the wood shop. With your help we will be able to purchase a Raspberry Pi to control the CNC router wirelessly and make it easier to connect for the students.
