These books will be used with my high school students to hook them on history in a literacy-rich way. When students are interested in the material they will be motivated to learn beyond the standards. I will incorporate interactive read alouds using children's books to hook my students on reading before, after and during a lesson. Help me grow our classroom library so that students have access to books that will be windows, mirrors and doors for their learning. The moving desk is for me! It is so helpful to be able to move around the class and take your computer to conference with students!
