I chose these books for my classroom because they will help activate each students imagination. Each of these book series will challenge my students and also provide enrichment for those higher leveled readers. For this reason, I have added several series of books that I would love to see the kids get into. My goal is to see them truly enjoy reading and getting excited about each book as they get to it. The environment of school has been different the past year and I would love to set the tone for my classroom right from the start. I think the kids need to have a welcoming and comfortable environment to truly grow. I believe reading books to the kids and then letting them finish the series will be a great way to provide a learning rich environment. With the books I have added, they will have a variety of books to choose from and get to pick the ones that interest them the most.
