I teach special education math but want to provide occasional reading time in my classroom. I have comfortable chairs for the students to read in and I wanted to also provide them access to high-interest, level appropriate books for them to choose from. I worked with an English teacher to come up with the list of books. I teach math but am a passionate reader and would like to pass that on to my students with a math classroom reading library. It is my hope to encourage my students to read by providing them with access to books that I love. My students will be given the opportunity to earn time in the classroom reading nook.
