My students are wonderful. They belong to a charter school whose philosophies are based on project based, technology-rich learning environment. We have a staff full of social justice educators. Despite this, we lack some serious funding. A majority of our 6th grade students come from heavily urban, low-income families, and from rough backgrounds. About 25% of my students have documented behavioral concerns. In order to try to best accommodate all these needs, the more available technology we have the better! By having more technology, I could pay more attention to those students who need it.
