My students come from many places to our classroom home. I am striving to make this year a great year to grow them as decision makers and show them that they have control of their education and choices. Through implementing flexible seating, they will have the opportunity to not only choose their seat, but understand themselves better as to what kind of learner they are. 5th grade is that great transition year where they can exercise independence within boundaries. Using all of these sitting options will grow them as decision makers and risk takers! It creates the perfect learning environment.
