Right now my classroom does not have materials for the students to have the opportunity for hands-on experiences. I want to create opportunities for them to become excited in learning. For example, the 3doodler will teach the students how to collaborate and ties into their curriculum. Plus there is a calming effect about a drawing so when a student needs a moment, the doidlet would be great in our calming area. The pens will allow the students to see firsthand what effects doodling has. The pens and doodler will again give the students the 3d materials to manipulate to better understand the material they are learning in class (while adding a 3d component). I feel strongly that by using these materials it will make them continue to want to come to class and continue to learn instead of getting caught up in the politics on the streets.
