I would love to have science-related reading and writing assignments for my students, but in a time of COVID resources at home can be limited and difficult to get. I will be making use of the TIME for Kids online magazine to help me teach science by assigning specific articles for the students to read and then having them respond in their journals to the article. My students have struggled for a long time without headphones and I would love for each student to have one so they are able to listen to online instructions or complete online assessments that read instructions to them. Finally, I will use the gift certificates to Teachers Pay Teachers to buy digital learning activities for online home learning while we are in distance learning such as math and reading activities or reading assessment activities or writing assessment activities.
