The Aviator staff is responsible for creating an annual yearbook for a brand new high school. In my classroom, student leaders are trained to direct staff members and to teach publishing skill-sets that will prepare them for success both in yearbook class and in the real world. The Apple laptop will provide students with access to the Macintosh operating system and opportunity to learn Apple program for photo-editing and publishing. Additionally, computer speakers and card readers will support student-led trainings for the staff members and will allow students to apply their learning to the development of the final yearbook publication.

About my class
