Let's give students the whole world! Each day, I take my 23 first grade students someplace new through books! One day we're in Italy and the next, we're huddled together with penguins in Antarctica. I am amazed each and every day at my students' enthusiasm and excitement to learn. Teaching in an inner-city school district provides many challenges; however, my goal is to show and equip my students for what's out there: beyond their homes, their streets, their state, their country, their world! Thank you for taking the time to view my project. My students and I really appreciate it.
