I am a 6th grade teacher in a rural Title I school. We have phenomenal parents and community support, but we are a high poverty area; over half of our students qualify for free/reduced lunch. Nevertheless, my students come to school each day with the spirit and determination to learn. Spending each day with them is a complete blessing!
