All students deserve to feel safe and loved. Help me create a first-grade classroom that does just that! My plan in creating to create a warm, cozy environment is to incorporate hanging lights from the ceiling and a warm, fuzzy rug in my reading area. I have also selected a variety of books to help teach social-emotional lessons. I also believe 7 year olds should be given the time to learn through play. That's why I've included hands-on STEM activities for students to work together during morning arrival with a K'Nex building set and magnetic tiles. I truly appreciate your consideration in helping fund my classroom and to make this year the best year ever! Help me show these kids just how much they're loved by assisting me to create for my students an environment that feels like home. I would like to incorporate more play-based learning for kiddos to work and learn together. Help me teach valuable life lessons though the use of read alouds!
