With your support I will make materials adaptive so students can access grade-level content. The students will not only have supportive materials readily available, but they will also have sensory supports that activate and enhance learning opportunities. These supports will ensure and provide students with a well-balanced learning environment. The students will use hands-on materials and manipulatives providing students with tactile and visual models to develop their understanding. Using adaptive materials supports building independence, students can experience more, and build on their abilities. Having sensory supports helps children to calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others within a safe environment. That allows the child using it to explore and interact without risk.
