A&P students learn well when they are able to create models of the parts of the body. We use modeling clay to create organs representing different systems of the body. For example making different muscles and showing how they work. Students need hands on activities to create a real world simulation. My students need materials for day to day learning. They are unable to afford even the essentials like paper, pencils, and pens. My students will be confident learners knowing when they come to class on the day we paint the actual cells we see under the microscope, that they will be able to participate and create on canvas what they see in real life. It will seem more real to them.
