The IGNITE program is a gifted enrichment program that serves students in grades 2-6. The program offers enrichment opportunities that incorporate universal themes with classroom learning. The program is needs based, so all who qualify are able to attend. Students spend 2-3 hours per week in IGNITE, studying things such as Newton's 3 Laws, Medieval Times, Forensic Science, Statistics, Art, and Literature. Many of the students come from military families. The program is designed to make the transition smooth for military students, making it easier on them as they transition to their new school.
