My students develop individual science questions, research the topic, design an experiment, hypothesize the outcome, test, analyze and communicate their findings. Their research papers are impressive; including titles such as, "A Three-Year Study: The Bioconversion of Lignin Cellulosic Waste to Increase Biofuel and Capacitor Production," "A Study on the Effect of Aerodynamic Wind Turbine Adaptations on Sound Pressure Level," and "A Three-Year Study: The Impact of Metal Toxicity and Food Dyes on Neurological Response." Your financial help to purchase Chromebooks will save this science research class, allowing my current and future students the opportunity to share their scientific papers and presentations. These rural, high school students are creative innovators, ready to tackle local and global problems. Technology is an emphasis of the Missouri Standards with hopes to drive interest in science and engineering fields. Please be a part of the dream.
