I currently have 5 students who are 3-5 years old with different disabilities. Most are non-verbal and we use various AAC devices to promote communication throughout our day. It is a self-contained class in Maryland. My students' disabilities affect them in the areas of cognitive development, fine/gross motor development, speech, vision development, hearing development, and social-emotional development. While each student varies in their strengths and needs, we have fun doing different activities throughout the day!
