Because of budget cuts, I have to change my welcome message: I (was a full time) Title I Reading teacher. I (Did) provide intervention and prevention services for at-risk students, grades K-5, at a rural West Virginia school. We are located in a high poverty area with very little business support. Due to the budget cuts, next year I will teach 3rd grade 1/2 day and provide intervention for the most high-risk readers in the school the other 1/2 day. I will have more responsibility and less time to help individual students.
