The goal of this project is to build a library of rich texts to catapult students' independent discovery! With only two core texts in place to help students gain a literal understanding of how the human heart works as well as explore what "having a heart" means figuratively, we will need a strong library of supporting texts to help the scholars go further. The books selected will not only stretch students' knowledge of the cardiovascular system but also challenge them to explore stories of how people, real and fictional, use their hearts to make choices in life. Get pumped to help the kiddos!
