About my class

Students in special education have many different challenges they need to face in their learning journey. With flexible seating and fidget items, students have the chance to take charge of their learning experience. Flexible seating can allow the students to find the best seating option for them. Using fidget items also allows students to find something they can use to stay focused while learning and doing work. Giving middle school students the chance to take control of their learning gives them a different type of confidence in the classroom. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options and different items they can use to help focus on their learning. These different options will be extremely beneficial to the students that just need something extra to help them focus. I have seen how choice can positively affect my student's work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help them grow and tackle their daily challenges.
