I am requesting travel scopes for star gazing. Many of my students have never seen the stars and moon up close. I want to give them the change to see what we are talking about. If things are made real students at such a young age will understand it better. I also want to include my parents in this learning activity. We are going to star gaze as a family and discover what the universe has to offer. I think this will be a great way to get our students and parents learning together. We are going to have a special family night where we will show our parents all that we know about space. The students and families will use the telescopes to explore the world of astrology. Using these telescopes students will build a clearer understanding of what space really is. This is a great way to expand the students vocabulary and understanding.
