As a librarian, I believe in the Margaret Fuller quote, "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader." With an iPad and free eBook apps, I feel I could offer all of my students the experience of reading with a tablet to become stronger leaders and readers. As the librarian, I am always working to push students to a higher level of reading and comprehension. With an iPad in the central location of the school, this would allow every student who visits my library, to experience the power of an iPad in conjunction with reading apps and free eBooks. Our school has already set up an iPad page with apps for parents, teachers and students. Many of those are FREE reading interactive eBooks which I know my students would love to experience. Even more so, for those who do not have iPads at home. Our school is blessed with wonderful students who love to read!
