My classroom is one second grade within a LARGE school (serving 2-5 students with eight second grades). We are always bustling with activity! We are detectives--discovering new words, letters, and a purpose for reading. We are scientists--discovering how the world works. We are mathematicians--investigating shapes and measuring all objects. We are artists, singers, readers, athletes, and, most importantly, friends. Each child brings their own personality and skills to our classroom environment and that is what makes our whole class unique.
