I am a special education teacher and co-teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade math. My students have a range of disabilities. It is my goal to help them find their strengths so that they can achieve success. They benefit from the opportunity to have lessons presented multiple times in a format that appeals to their individual learning style. They benefit from the opportunity to "show what they know" in various formats. Some of my students may not be able to verbally explain an answer, but they can put together a video presentation that is amazing. Some of my students struggle with basic math skills, but with prompting and technology they can solve grade level equations.
