My students are seventh and eight grade students at a school in Northeast Washington, D.C. We are a proud DC Public School, where we have a high percentage of our students using our free and reduced lunch program. My girls are smart kids, and many of them are finding success in math. I leafed through this book at a book store, and know that many of my girls would really enjoy using it. I could assign assignments and bonus reading from it. The book is readable and accessible. Hopefully, the girls who have yet to see the beauty of mathematics will have their interest piqued with this book that is aimed at snagging teenage girls!
